The IBM team has organised or is in the process of organizing
the following Landscape Auctions:
2010
Lake Constance (Bodensee)
In October 2010, in collaboration with the Bodensee Stiftung
another Landscape Auction on the German side of Lake Constance
will be organized.
The Landscape Auction is part of the EU Business and
Biodiversity Campaign in which Triple E participates. During
this campaign, Triple E will organize Landscape Auctions in the
Netherlands, Germany and Spain.
Friesland
In collaboration with Landschapsbeheer Friesland (Landscape
conservation Friesland) Triple E will organize a Landscape
Auction in September in Friesland, the first in this province.
More information coming soon! We can already reveal that it will
be about the decoys that adorn the Frisian landscape.
Vermont (click

Triple E is
working with the White River Partnership, USDA Natural Resource
Conservation Service and U.S. Forestry Service at the first big
Landscape Auction event of North America. Families and
businesses are offered the opportunity to participate in unique
landscape features, all focused on the beauty of the landscape
of Vermont. Articles about the Landscape Auction have been
published in many newspapers and the Landscape Auction will
receive attention from around the U.S. There are 12 private
landowners along in the Landscape Auction and thus buffer zones
along the river, the release of salmon and much more interesting
and distinctive elements will be under the hammer.
North Carolina
During the third annual conference on ecosystem services in
North Carolina (3rd annual ecosystem markets conference) on June
24 2010 a Landscape Auction is held in conjunction with the
White River Partnership from Vermont.
With this auction, the Landscape Auction is shown to a wide
audience of conservationists and government officials from
around the U.S. There is great interest in the applicability of
the instrument in this country. During the Landscape Auction,
landscape elements of Vermont are on offer. It is in this state
that Triple E along with the White River Partnership is
organizing the first Landscape Auction in the U.S. in August
2010.
2011
 In 2011 Triple E will organize a grand
Landscape Auction during the SusCon event in Nuremberg where the
focus will be on the involvement of the participating companies.
The organization of SusCon has therefore decided after the
successful teaser Landscape Auction early June 2010.
In 2011 there will also be a Landscape Auction organized during
the German CSR Forum (Forum EnviComm). Besides these
events there will be many more in the Netherlands and beyond!
