Huge enthusiasm for landscape
To encourage the bidders even more, a photographer offered every buyer spontaneously a beautiful picture of their purchased object, an applepie will be made with the authentic fruit tree for Gelderland and to the floating bird island a tour will be organized for all the bidders. This landscape auction was organized by Triple E together with Global Nature Fund as a part of the EU Business&Biodiversity Campagne.

NUREMBERG
– 15 June 2010 – A little
hesitating at least fourty encouraged visitors of the SusCon
(International Conference on Sustainable Business and Consumption in
Nuremberg) entered the room for one of the many sessions of this
conference. But this one was different, there was something going to
happen, here every participant could personally make a difference
for biodiversity. This became clear soon during the presentation of
the landscape elements on offer. From a 20 euros nest box for Fort
Hackfort in the Achterhoek (Netherlands), a living lawn mower in
Baden-Württemberg (Germany) for 105 euros, till a floating island
for birds in La Mancha Húmeda (Spain) for 500 euros. All seven
offered elements were sold, some for much more than the initial
price.
