A high-calorie landscape
In this book from 2010, commissioned by Aequator ‘Green & Space’ (Groen & Ruimte), Tom Bade examines the relationship between landscape and forest management and the use of biomass as an energy source. In there, he warns of the danger of forests being robbed for energy production if no higher quality biomass sources for energy production are found. In 2019 we can conclude that this warning was both justified and in vain.
