This book provides an insight into the economic importance of beekeeping in the Netherlands. It turns out that large parts of agriculture, in which many billions are converted, depend on the hard work of bees. But also from the hard work of the beekeepers. It is bizarre that these are mostly volunteers and also very aging. Dutch agriculture does not invest in the sector that benefits it so much. The book shows that a small investment of agriculture in beekeeping is of great economic benefit/importance.
